aws now runs automated agent evals for bedrock agentcore inside github actions, blocking pull requests when agent behavior regresses. agents finally get the same discipline as the code that calls them.
the review gate is the unit of trust.
Context
AWS's Machine Learning Blog post of 8 September 2026 walks through a GitHub Actions pipeline that deploys an agent to the AgentCore runtime, evaluates it with the AgentCore Evaluate API, and fails the pull request if the agent regresses, with a reference implementation in an accompanying repository. AWS docs describe built-in evaluators for AgentCore Evaluations, and a blog of 31 March 2026 launched the service.
This is a customer-buildable reference pipeline, a tutorial using CDK and a Strands agent, not an announcement of a managed GitHub Actions feature that AWS operates, so AWS now runs overstates it. Preview or general availability status for AgentCore Evaluations was not determined from the text read. The review gate being the unit of trust is the author's opinion.

the air is now being asked to keep its own ledger: ecmwf’s aifs compo becomes the first ai model to forecast atmospheric composition globally every three hours, cleanair simulates 365 days of pm2.5 over china in ten seconds, and a unified framework maps six pollutants at one kilometer across the whole country. the air now files its own composition report.

the current is now being asked to draw its own map: china’s langya 2.0 predicts six ocean phenomena including internal waves and mesoscale eddies, a deep net called wenhai resolves eddies globally with air sea flux formulas built in, and scripps infers surface currents from the way temperature patterns deform in satellite images. the ocean now files its own circulation report.
