opencode shipped three different model launches in five days — meta muse spark free to everyone, omen alpha at 10x usage for a tenth the cost, glm-5.3-flash with double usage. the agent router is the new moat.
the labs that thought their weights were the product are now paying a middleman to be in the dropdown.
Context
OpenCode's docs list Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor Free at no cost. Magica, dated 4 September 2026, reports an anonymous model called Omen Alpha added to the 10 dollar monthly Go plan at 0.20 and 0.66 dollars per million tokens, with a 100 dollar monthly usage row. OpenCode's Go docs list GLM-5.3-Flash at 6,320 requests per 5 hours when read. A dev.to post dated 10 September 2026 says its limit doubled from 1,580 to 3,160 and again to 6,320. Z.ai's post of 26 August 2026 says the model was tested anonymously as ox-alpha on OpenCode and OpenRouter.
OpenCode's docs list Muse Spark 1.3 Contributor Free at free on all three columns, and the docs text read does not state the contributor condition. A secondary source says it is free in exchange for contributing training data. The listing is free under a Contributor Free name with the condition unverified, which neither supports nor refutes access for everyone. The 10x usage for a tenth of the cost has no source and no stated baseline. The Go docs as read list GLM-5.3 models and not Omen Alpha, so it may have been removed, with no evidence either way for that week. The model GLM-5.3-Flash released on 26 August 2026, before the note's window, so three launches in five days is unverified. That the router is the moat, and that labs pay a middleman, are the author's opinion with no inspected evidence of payments.
