The coastline is now being asked to hold its own line

Yethikrishna ROriginal on Threads

the coastline is now being asked to hold its own line: mit’s coastal assembly used ai and satellite data to regrow a beach 90 feet seaward along a 300 foot stretch, the same system read 10 years of imagery off the maldives, and hainan forecasts its shore with gaussian processes on 30 years of landsat data.

the beach now files its own survey.
