the fastest-growing category on github this month is tools that scrub ai fingerprints from text. blader's humanizer pulled about 5,900 new stars in a single week, and no-ai-slop plus anti-ai-slop skills keep climbing the same charts.

Context
The blader/humanizer repository, read on 4 October 2026, describes an agent skill that removes signs of AI-generated writing from text, with an MIT license and 41,066 stars at that fetch. The petergyang/no-ai-slop repository was seen as a snippet describing removal of 20+ patterns of AI slop from any writing, with 6,619 stars at that capture.
These are current star counts at different fetches, not dated interval data, so about 5,900 new stars in a week is unverified.
