the humanoid bottleneck just moved from hardware to software, and unitree open-sourced the fix. on september 10 unitree released unifolm-wla-1.0, a 6-billion-parameter model handling 64 whole-body tasks trained on about 2,500 hours of real robot data, weights and code public.

the robot race just became a software race.
