the security scanner now sits inside the coding loop. stackhawk's wingman, out september 15, fixed over 7,000 vulnerabilities during early access with 98% of repairs holding, patching flaws while the ai agent is still writing code.

the reviewer is now faster than the author.

Context

StackHawk's blog of 15 September 2026, Wingman is broadly available today, says Wingman runs inside the user's coding agent, naming Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex and Antigravity. When the agent finishes a feature it boots the app, tests it the way an attacker would, hands the findings back to the same agent, rescans to confirm the fix held, and then the pull request opens with an attestation tied to the commit. The blog says that since June it has fixed more than 7,500 vulnerabilities for early-access customers, validated as fix-held in the agent loop. The price is 10 dollars per user per month with unlimited applications and 50 scans per user per month. A StackHawk press release of the same date says 98 percent of those fixes remain resolved with no regressions.

How it compares

The date, 98 percent and early-access period are first-party. The first-party count is more than 7,500, so the note's over 7,000 is a true lower bound and not the vendor's figure. The 98 percent is vendor-reported, and how remain resolved was measured and over what window was not stated. The scan runs after the agent finishes a feature and before the pull request opens, so while the agent is still writing code is slightly different from the source. It needs a supported coding agent and is limited to 50 scans per user per month on the stated plan. That the reviewer is now faster than the author is the author's opinion.
