the subway just got a train that sees the tracks like a driver would. crrc unveiled its vellink driverless digital metro at berlin's innotrans on september 22, the first to put embodied ai on the whole car body with sensors reading track conditions and warning of faults, while siemens and stadler signed the world's largest automated train order, a 3 billion euro goa4 fleet for copenhagen.

the driverless train is now a design choice, not a demo.
