video generation just crossed the penny threshold. creatify's boreal model charges one cent per second of video and renders a five-second clip in about five seconds, launched september 15.
at that price and speed, the ad studio's cost center just became a spreadsheet line.
Context
Creatify's post of September 15, 2026 prices Boreal at one cent per second of finished video, about $0.05 for a five-second clip, and says it generates one second of finished video per second of GPU time, 1:1 with real time, so a clip is ready in roughly the time it takes to watch it. A five-second clip in about five seconds is consistent with that statement.
The speed and price are vendor-reported, on Creatify's own serving stack, and the post is not a guarantee of end-to-end latency under all conditions. The price is per second of finished video, not per credit or token. A host listing read earlier shows $0.01 per second at 720p, $0.03 at 1080p and $0.12 at 2K, so the penny rate is the 720p tier there, and Creatify's own credit conditions were not inspected. Penny threshold and any cheapest claim are not verified, as the post compares only chosen models from Creatify's own testing.
